I like it! You can play with your monochrome settings further by setting picture style to monochrome and while in the picture style menu highlighting monochrome and hitting jump. This opens up a "detail set" menu which allows you to set sharpness, contrast, filter effect, and toning effect for that picture style. For monochrome I bump up sharpness quite a bit and contrast up by about one stop.
